Allow me to begin by stating the obvious.
HARD WORK nudges one closer to good fortune (i.e. “good luck”). ‘Luck’ does not operate in a vacuum. It gravitates towards ‘effort’.
This lesson has been well-spent by the recent wave of ‘motivational teachers’. We have all heard the now redundant lines, “I worked for 22 hours a day” and “I started my hospital chain with one cough”.
Somewhere along the line, someone seemed to have sent out a memo (which I missed) that STRUGGLE should be embellished for it to be impactful and inspirational.
Nevertheless, it is improbable to inflate the value of HARD WORK in attaining any form of success.
By now, my gentle readers will know that I enjoy using illustrations to hone in on my messages. For relevance, I wish to use witchcraft as an illustration.
Social media has also fallen prey to witches and wizards advertising their services of offering “easy wealth” for a small fee. Here is STAT WISDOM, dear reader, REFUSE!! There is no shortcut to attaining wealth!
Any former Satanist/witch/wizard/cult member will tell you that a lot of HARD WORK is involved in these practices. Even seemingly “easy wealth” requires sacrifice and HARD WORK. They have to wake up at midnight, engage in astral projection (leaving their bodies behind and travelling in the spiritual realm), sacrifice X number of souls, bring in X litres of human blood and appease X number of demons/principalities. The list is endless. They never rest!
Anyway, back to the physical dimension.
I challenge my beloved reader to adopt a culture of working hard at any job they have and see the results for themselves.
If your job is to clean the floor, scrub it so shiny that your boss can see the unsightly pimple on their forehead.
If you are a waiter/waitress, smile so wide (even with little gratuity and in the face of ingratitude and insults) that your customers cannot even recognize your face when they meet you on the street.
If you are a politician, work so hard that ……, well, you deserve more prayers and fasting.
Whatever your profession, goal or standing in life, work hard for the passion of HARD WORK and see how your life will change.
HARD WORK creates opportunities.
Opportunities arise from HARD WORK.
